Jeff checked in for the Thunderbird out of Daveys Locker Newport Beach. We're picking away at a few this morning, good grade bluefin and yellowfin here. Yesterday, we made the call to either go back in to re-up on bait or stay out and hope for afternoon bite, and we got our afternoon bite! We ended up with LIMITS of bluefin tuna yesterday and 45 yellowfin tuna, so over 100 fish. We stopped on a nice school this morning, it didn't last long, but we landed 3. We're on another little school currently picking away at smaller bluefin and yellowfin. Yesterday, we made the gamble to not go in for bait and it paid off for us in the afternoon yesterday. Except, we're paying for it today, it's going to be a little short one. We're using every little last piece we have here! Jeff has the current fish report for you below.
